You’ll find four promises we want to achieve to improve our services based on what you’ve told us is important. They are also designed to build a strong foundation for how you can influence what we do and how we do it in the years to come.
We are looking for a group of residents to help us deliver on the promises made in the strategy and make real improvements. Simply email talktous@cds.coop if you would like to get involved. We really value your input and can’t wait to work with you.
Tenancy Fraud Policy
Tenancy fraud occurs when people live in our homes without the right to do so. Affordable housing is a limited resource, and tenancy fraud denies homes to those in genuine need. This policy outlines how CDS will prevent and tackle tenancy fraud in its housing stock.
Reasonable Adjustments Policy
CDS is committed to ensuring our residents have the same access to services regardless of their circumstances, and one way we can do this is through reasonable adjustments. The policy defines a “reasonable adjustment” and how we determine what is reasonable. It also outlines the approach to implementing reasonable adjustments to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities and factors we will consider when evaluating requests.
