contacting us
Language Line
If your first language is not English and you would like to speak to us in your own language then CDS Co-operatives can help.
We are members of Language Line and are able to offer callers the benefit of immediate interpreting services through Language Line.
The way the service works is that when someone rings us who would prefer to speak in a language other than English then we ring Language Line. In a few seconds we are both connected to an interpreter who can speak your language and interpret for you to us.
Text Relay - The UK's text-to-voice relay service
CDS Co-operatives can communicate with deaf or hard of hearing people using the national Text Relay service.
A deaf or hard of hearing person can dial the text relay service and a text relay operator will speak to CDS Co-operatives speaking whatever the caller has typed on the phone unit. CDS Co-operatives responses will then be typed by the Text Relay operator for the caller to respond to.
If CDS Co-operatives is calling a deaf or hard of hearing person then staff will need to call 18002 plus the telephone number,
