Need a health check?
If your co-op is not functioning as it should, in terms of its viability, governance or management, we are able to carryout a co-op health check and make recommendations for the remedial action you can take.
The health check is a desk top audit conducted by co-operative support officers. The purpose is to enable us to obtain a snapshot view of the performance level of your co-op so that we can identify areas where you may require more focus and attention for improvement. Results of the assessment also inform the remedial action needed to be taken to bring the co-operative up to the required standard. In cases where a more rigorous analysis is required there is an alternative intervention of carrying out a detailed performance audit. Performance health checks also enable us to identify good practice and celebrate success.
The health check covers the following services:
- governance
- finance
- complaints
- maintenance
- allocations
