Applications for housing
Sanford actively seeks applicants from all sections of the community, over the age of 18, who wish to live in a co-operative environment, regardless of gender, ethnic origin, disability, sexual orientation or health status. Unfortunately, there is no provision for wheelchair users, deaf/hard of hearing or visually impaired people. Sanford is a single persons’ co-operative and is not suitable for couples or applicants who have dependent children.
If you wish to apply you will need to fill in an application form and return it to Sanford Housing Co-op. Applicants should be familiar with co-ops and demonstrate this on their application form. Potential tenants of the co-op should be prepared to take on responsibilities that being a tenant member carries with it. Sanford has monthly interviews held on the first Tuesday of each month and applicants are invited to attend the week before.
