About
Cheriton Housing Co-operative is on a quiet cul-de-sac close to the area of Cheriton in Folkestone. There are 21 properties made up of two and three bedroom houses. One of the 3 bedroom houses has been wheelchair adapted.
The close was built in 1995 in conjunction with Shepway Council, The Housing Corporation and private finance. After training, Cheriton became an independent fully mutual co-operative in 1998.
All properties have double glazing, fitted kitchens, gas central heating, they also have their own drive ways and there are communal car parks. There is a service charge for communal gardening.
The estate is close to Cheriton shopping centre with schools and allotments nearby and is within easy access of major roads to London and Dover.
