Draft Training and Development Policy published for consultation

CDS has published a draft Training and Development Policy, setting out how the organisation aims to ensure staff have the skills, knowledge and support needed to deliver safe, high-quality services as the organisation evolves.

The draft policy explains how training and development needs are identified through induction, probation, appraisals and regular one-to-ones, alongside an annual training programme aligned to organisational priorities. It also outlines mandatory training requirements, expectations for key professional qualifications in relevant senior roles, and the support available for longer-term development through coaching, mentoring and structured learning opportunities.

The draft policy is being made available to invite feedback from tenants and other stakeholders, ensuring there are opportunities to comment before it is finalised and approved.
