What’s Changing?
- We’ll explain more clearly how different types of homes are classified.
- There will be better guidance on how we set rents for new tenants.
- We’ll include details about different rent types like Fair Rent, London Affordable Rent, and Shared Ownership.
- We’ll also explain how and when rent increases can happen.
What Stays the Same?
We’ll still have the option to set rents up to 5% higher than the standard rate. This gives us flexibility to deal with local issues and make sure rents stay affordable for everyone.
