Please see below for an update from Compliance and Programmes Manager, Sally O’Sullivan, on the ongoing situation at Block 1, Phoenix Place:
We know that the ongoing problems with the lift in Block 1 at Phoenix Place are of great inconvenience to our customers and we really appreciate your patience.
We are working closely with the lift manufacturers to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. This will require both parts for the mechanical working of the lift doors and, additionally, some repairs which are now needed to the doors following an emergency opening yesterday. These repairs are being assessed by the manufacturers so that both elements can be resolved at the same time.
Whilst the lift is out of action, we want to continue to prioritise resident safety. We will be in contact with residents who we know may need additional help but if you are concerned about your own welfare, or the welfare of a family member or neighbour then please get in contact with our team so that we can help.
