Have your Say!!
Government Regulator Consultation on New Tenant Satisfaction Measures
CDS residents are being encouraged to take part in a national survey from the Regulator of Social Housing (RHS) seeking your views on the proposed tenant satisfaction measures that it will use as part of assessing whether we are doing a good job as your landlord These measures are part of changes to consumer regulations set out in the Government’s Charter for Social Housing Residents.
Our Regulator is suggesting 22 measures for resident satisfaction that cover five important themes from the new Charter for Social Housing Tenants. These themes are
• Keeping properties in good repair.
• Maintaining building safety.
• Effective complaints handling.
• Respectful and helpful tenant management.
• Responsible neighbourhood management.
The measures have been discussed with tenants and landlords from across the country and we now want you to input your views Once the measures are finally agreed – later this year – we will report to you on how we are doing on these measures each year and you will be able to compare our performance with other landlords. This is all part of our commitment to be more accountable to you for the services we offer and how we are changing or improving them.
