Swan Lane Housing Co-operative is located on the banks of the River Thames and was completed in 1987 as part of a larger development in the area. The co-operative has 44 properties consisting of 8 one bed flats and 36 two, three and four bed houses which are laid out around a central court. Most of the development is two storey but the larger four bed houses are built on three floors. These and some of the three bed houses have an integral garage at ground level. The flats are self contained and are built in two linked blocks. The properties have fitted kitchens and bathrooms, modern economical heating installations and double glazed windows and backdoors.
Swan Lane has an active committee who carry out many of the duties for the co-operative and meet regularly. The committee also organises an annual fun day, street parties and days out.
It is within easy access to shops in the area and travel facilities and five minutes walk from Rotherhithe underground station.

Swan Lane Housing Co-operative has contractual tenancies and has a 50% allocation agreement with Southwark Council. Please contact Southwark council to register for housing. Please note that Swan Lane Housing Co-operative’s waiting list is currently closed.
