Oast Wood Housing Co-operative is situated on Titchfield Road, Senacre. The estate has 36 properties of three bedroom houses and a couple of wheelchair adapted bungalows.
The estate was built in 1995 and is a fully mutual independent co-operative. The properties have fitted kitchens and bathrooms, they have double glazed windows and gas central heating. There is car parking available for all residents and visitors, a recreation ground where children can play, as well as a community centre which holds sports and other activities for the community. There is a service charge covering the grounds maintenance which is carried out fortnightly on the estate.
The Co-op is well served by public transport links into the town centre, which is a ten minute drive away. The Senacre Wood and apple orchards of Otham are also close by.
Oast Wood Housing Co-op has contractual tenancies.
Applications for housing
To apply for housing register with Maidstone Borough Council who have 50% nomination right for vacancies at Oast Wood Housing Co-op, the rest of vacancies are filled by the Co-ops own waiting list.
