How can food be part of building communities and helping the planet?
A free to attend weekend workshop 31st March to 1st April
We all know that food is life.
This weekend event is specifically for social housing residents and those who work with them to spend time thinking about how food – growing it, sharing it and preparing it – can help build and support communities AND help with climate change. It is being run at the beautiful venue of Trafford Hall (a community resource centre https://www.traffordhall.com/) which has accommodation and meals for those attending.
We are keen to sponsor one or more residents to attend so that we can start to build these ideas into our work at CDS. We will cover all of the expenses – including travel. It is a small group (about 30), there will be lots of tenants and other residents at the event and we can guarantee it will be welcoming and fun. If you are interested and would like to attend, please email us at talktous@cds.coop or call Linda on 0204 551 2953 for more information.
