Last night the UK Government extended the current lockdown for another 3 weeks. We know that this is an unsettling time and news of the extended lockdown will have furthered this feeling of uncertainty. We want to reassure residents that we are here to support and assist wherever possible.
This week we have launched our Calling Out Campaign, which aims to ensure that every single one of our residents is checked in on by a member of our team. We hope to have achieved this by the end of next week. By checking in with each resident through a friendly phone call we have been able to proactively look for new ways to support our residents. At a time of isolation and separation, our teams have been energised by the simple, human connection of a phone call. As new support networks spring up across the country, our teams have been able to signpost residents to local services, including food banks, welfare support, and pharmacists. What has been most heartening about the campaign, however, is the endless reports of neighbourly support and kindness that our residents are feeding back to us. From Milton Keynes to Folkestone and everywhere in between we are hearing from vulnerable residents who are being supported and cared for by their local community. If you have not been contacted yet and are looking for some support or guidance then get in touch today.
Elsewhere in the business, we continue to work remotely and are here for you if you have any questions, queries or concerns. Have a look here for a full list of contact details and here for further support options.
As ever, we encourage you to stay safe, stay home wherever possible, and have a lovely weekend.
