She says she loves it there, as much for the beautiful surroundings as the friendly spirit of the people. Lynn currently works for a local college library, part-time, helping students find the resources they need for their studies.

In her new role as TA she has been spending time with the staff in the CDS Co-operatives office, getting to know who they are and what they do. And she has wasted little time getting out to meet tenants, too. She took advantage of Darent’s Flower Day this summer to meet and greet more of her neighbours.

Lynn’s role as a TA is to work on behalf of tenants to ensure they are receiving the services and standards they are entitled to. To do this she needs tenants to work with her, too. She will be contacting tenants in the future to ask their opinion on services from CDS Co-operatives, but says don’t wait until you hear from her. ‘I’ve had a few nice chats with some of you already,’ she says. ‘And you will see me around more and more. If you see me on your estate, please come and grab my attention, even if it’s just for a chinwag!’
