Condensation can cause dampness and damage to your home. You can reduce condensation by:
-
keeping ventilation vents clear;
-
opening windows;
-
making sure saucepans are covered while you are cooking;
-
allowing steam to get out of the house while having a bath or shower;
-
drying your washing outside if possible;
-
wiping away any condensation on windows, sills and tiled surfaces;Â and
-
remembering to clear mould away by using anti-mould detergent as soon as you see any, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
