- getting involved
We are committed to involving all our tenants in the decisions that affect the management and maintenance of their homes and the way we make decisions in providing services.
Many of the estates we have developed or work with operate as co-operatives and have representatives who influence how we provide services and make decisions. These co-operatives give you the chance to meet your neighbours and work with them to have a say in what we do for you.
We will always listen to your co-op’s views. If there is no cooperative, we will do all we can to involve you in decisions that affect your housing. Our plans for involving you in everything we do are explained in a document we have prepared called the tenant participation strategy. Please ask us if you would like a copy.
Our board of management and residents quality services committee
You also have an opportunity to be involved in our work, by joining the residents quality services committee or the board of management.
The board is responsible for making all decisions affecting us, including setting policies and giving our organisation direction. The board is made up of tenants from the co-ops we work with, individuals and professionals with an interest in our work.
You could also join the residents quality services committee, which looks at issues of housing management. The committee is made up of tenants from the co-ops and other organisations we work with.
There is a procedure for recruiting of members of the board and the residents quality services committee, and places are limited. If you would like more details about how to be involved, please contact us through the Help Desk on 03333 21 30 30.
