Either partner in a ‘relationship’ breakdown may apply to the county court for an order transferring the tenancy to their name.You should contact your solicitors or the local citizens advice bureau (CAB) who can give you more advice about this. If one partner wants to voluntarily give up their part of the tenancy, we can then grant the tenancy to the remaining tenant.
