- STATUS survey of tenants & leaseholders 2009
At CDS Co-operatives we work hard to provide a good service to our tenants and client co-ops. This is a continuous process and we like to check how the users of our services feel we are performing. The recent postal survey that Ipsos MORI carried out on our behalf shows that the majority of our residents – 74% – are satisfied with the overall service we provide. (The average for other social landlords surveyed by MORI in 2008 was 69%). Only 12% said they were not satisfied.
Compared to our 2006 survey, there has been a slight fall in the number who said they were satisfied. This may be because the previous survey was carried out by phone – phone surveys normally show more satisfaction than postal ones.
Four out of five tenants were satisfied with the overall quality of their home, and more than one in three – 34% – said they were very satisfied. Only 4% said they were very dissatisfied.
We are pleased that other areas of our service also show high levels of satisfaction, but we will still work to improve the service even more.
