CRISH – beautifully done!

Since 2002 we have been working with Camden Residents in Short Life Housing (CRISH) on the redevelopment of their properties in Camden in North West London. We are now pleased to report that the construction of the new build part of the project has now been successfully completed. We are very proud of the work done.

CRISH – beautifully done!

new build at Lithos Road

It was not an easy project, but we are pleased with the final result.  This is an eco-friendly development located on a prime site with easy access to transport and other facilities.  The lower block is built in brick.  The tower block has red cedar timber cladding. At a total cost of £2.8 million, with funding from the Housing Corporation [now the Homes and Communities Agency], we have built 22 homes with a mix of one, two and three bedroom units.

Each property has either a rear garden or has access to a large landscaped communal garden.  In addition, each property has either a private balcony or terrace with fantastic cityscape views. Some of the homes are for affordable general needs housing and a few are for shared ownership.

The residents have started moving back in and potential buyers have already snapped up the nine units for shared ownership.  “The flats are really nice now that they have been rebuilt”, said Dorothea Linder, one of the residents has already moved back in.  We hope other residents will equally enjoy their new homes.
