Shearwood Housing Co-operative is a shared ownership scheme consisting of 111 properties; 30 one bed flats, 2 one bed houses, 49 two bed houses and 30 three bed houses.

The co-op is located in Thames Road and is approximately one mile from the nearest shopping centre in Crayford. More extensive shopping centres are found close by in Dartford and Bexleyheath and local shops are within walking distance. The estate is conveniently placed for the Kent coast and London and there are frequent commuter services into central London and the Medway towns from Barnehurst and Slade Green Stations, with local buses running into Crayford.
