Milldale Housing Co-operative was built in 1984 and is an independent fully mutual primary co-operative. It was the first co-operative built in East Kent by CDS Co-operatives and is located close to Deal town centre. It has 52 properties comprising 29 two bed flats, 7 three bed flats and 16 three bed houses. All homes have fitted kitchens and bathrooms, central heating and individual parking spaces.

The Co-operative manages a Community Hall which is used by a variety of local groups for activities such as social events and co-operative committee meetings. The Committee is very active and manages the majority of the Co-op’s affairs.

Milldale Housing Co-operative has contractual tenancies and after internal transfers, 50% of vacancies are given to Dover District Council for nominations from their housing register.
