Halcyon Housing Co-operative was built about 25 years ago and is part of a much larger estate called Grove Hill. Dacorum Borough Council and other registered social landlords also manage properties on Grove Hill estate along with private owners/landlords. Halcyon has 79 units comprising of flats and terraced houses. 46 of the properties have been sold under the right to buy and 33 are rented. The homes are well maintained, with double glazing, fitted kitchens and central heating. All ground floor flats have an individual rear garden.

The estate has allocated parking facilities and tenants also have the option of renting a garage at a nominal cost. Landscaped areas are a central part of the area and tenants and those residents who have purchased their homes pay a service charge for their upkeep. Halcyon is fully managed by CDS Co-operatives, has assured, assured shorthold, and secure tenancies and a 50:50 nomination agreement with the local council.
