Greendale Co-operative Housing Society is one of CDS Co-operatives’s oldest estates and was built in 1977/78. Located in the Greenstead area of Colchester it has 77 freehold, leasehold and rented properties and is a mixture of houses and purpose built flats situated within green open spaces.

The estate consists of 11 one bed two person flats, 20 two bed three person flats, 32 three bed five person houses, 6 three bed six person houses, 2 four bed six person houses and 1 four bed seven person house. CDS owned, the number of rented properties in the co-operative stands at 56.

All the properties have double glazed windows and front doors, central heating, and fitted kitchens and bathrooms. There is car parking throughout the estate with allocated parking for the flats. The houses have their own driveways.

Hythe train station is within close proximity and Colchester town centre and main station are within two miles.

Greendale Co-operative issues secure or assured tenancies and receives nominations from Colchester Borough Council as well as keeping its own waiting list.
