Forge Fields Housing Co-operative is situated at Forge Close in the small rural village of Five Oak Green near Tonbridge in Kent. Completed in two phases, it was built in 1996/97 on the old forge site at Whetsted Road and has 16 properties comprising 10 two bed houses and 6 three bed houses. Presently the co-operative remains under the management and ownership of CDS Co-operatives.

All properties have the benefit of double glazing, gas central heating, fitted kitchens, and front and rear gardens with parking spaces.

Forge Fields village has a small local shop, a greengrocers and a post office and is about 6 miles from Tonbridge. There is a school approx ½ mile outside the village and the nearest hospital is in Pembury which is approximately 5 miles away.

There is a fairly regular bus service into Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Paddock Wood and British Rail stations with services into London and the Kent coast.

Forge Fields Housing Co-operative issues assured shorthold tenancies and has a 100% nominations agreement with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.  The Co-operative only takes referrals from the local authority.
