- The international co-operative housing sector has a new President!
CDS Co-operatives is pleased to announce that our executive director, David Rodgers, has been elected as President of the Housing Sector of the International Co-operative Alliance.
Elections took place at the bi-annual plenary meeting of International Housing Sector Organisation on Wednesday 18th November which was held in conjunction with the ICA's General Assembly meeting in Geneva.
David was nominated by co-operative housing colleagues in eight countries and elected unanimously to serve for a term of four years.
ICA Housing is a sectoral organisation of the International Co-operative Alliance. It was established to promote the development of co-operative housing in all countries, and to disseminate best practice within the global housing co-operative movement.
New ICA Global President: We would also like to congratulate Dame Pauline Green, formerly of Co-operatives UK, who was unanimously elected as President of the ICA Global board and is the ICA’s first woman president.
